Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of tax department staff.
- Collaborate with tax manager and compliance officers on complex tax returns.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of tax returns and other tax-related projects.
- Provide expert advice on tax regulations and compliance matters.
- Liaise with SARS to resolve complex tax queries and disputes.
- Develop and implement effective tax compliance processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of documents, returns, and payments to SARS.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including the Income Tax Act, Tax Administration Act, and VAT Act.
- Experience working with SARS and familiarity with GreatSoft and SARS E-Filing.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Able to interpret and apply tax law effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
