You will be responsible for collaborating with engineering teams to implement and upgrade systems that enhance performance while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot process control systems, including PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize control systems and improve process efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff on best practices for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all activities related to control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Oil and Gas Automation Technician, specifically in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Proven expertise in working with PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of control system concepts, safety instrumented systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
