Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Retail Manager to join our team at Boardroom Appointments. As a seasoned professional in retail management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing store operations, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, increase customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate store employees, including sales and operational staff, to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, and oversee ordering processes to minimize shrinkage and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner, and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety standards, food safety, and hygiene protocols within the store, ensuring compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Financial Management: Assist in tracking sales performance, cash handling, reconciliation, and expense management, analyzing sales figures to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the butchery, wholesale, or food distribution sectors.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, food products, and wholesale distribution processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of certifications related to food safety or retail operations is beneficial.
