Retail Store Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mr Price Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and motivating a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure that all store displays are maintained to a high standard and that merchandise is properly stocked and faced.
- Manage cash handling and banking procedures, including reconciliations and stock takes.
- Oversee the maintenance of the store's visual merchandising standards and ensure that all areas of the store are tidy and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
Requirements:
- A Matric or equivalent qualification (Grade 12) with Mathematics as one of the subjects would be advantageous.
- Previous retail management experience with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of R70,000 - R90,000 per annum, based on experience.
