About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at NDC Personnel & Contractors CC. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery uptime, maintaining occupational health and safety standards, and managing all electrical distribution boards in compliance with the OSH Act.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure maximum reliability of electrical systems.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring good housekeeping practices and adhering to standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of post-apprenticeship trade experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in fault finding on PLC inputs and outputs.
Skilled in mechanical component maintenance, with the ability to replace bearings, shafts, and other key components.
Self-disciplined, motivated individual with strong decision-making skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
