Position Overview

Oxyon Human Capital Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Climate Change Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions verifications for clients through on-site and off-site audits of their operations, processes, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review documentation and provide feedback to establish an accurate audit plan and report timelines.
  • Perform GHG emissions verifications for clients by conducting on-site and off-site audits of their operations, processes, and documentation.
  • Respond to queries about V&V reviews in a timely manner.
  • Draft relevant documentation on the outcomes of V&V projects.
  • Maintain records and documentation of audits for continuation of ISO 14065 accreditation or others.
  • Assist in or deliver public and private GHG trainings for clients.
  • Support in preparation of project proposals to the sales team.
  • Execute projects with expected results, prepare final reports, and represent the team.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders internally and externally, project developers, team members, technical experts, etc.
  • Support the business head in preparing relevant reports, such as pipeline updates as needed.
  • Support in key client meetings as a technical expert.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a University degree or equivalent in the field of engineering, natural science, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional work experience.
  • Priority will be given to any professional qualifications or experience with GHG audit work.

Location

  • The Candidate can either work from Johannesburg or Cape Town.
