Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Sourcing Expert to join our team at Astral Operations Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of maintenance, service and replacement parts for our processing plant and service departments.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and procurement of maintenance, service and replacement parts as per Astral Procurement Procedure.
  • Admin and filing related to job function including creditor's queries.
  • Ensuring all orders are placed on time at the best price with the best supplier.
  • Expediting orders and ensuring all items are received on time.
  • Managing vendor data basis and reduce vendor base.
  • Maintain 20 Keys.
Requirements

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Matric, tertiary qualification in buying or finance will be an advantage.
  • Experienced in buying of engineering & maintenance items and services.
  • 3-5 years' experience with Buying Systems and Procedures is a must.
  • Possession of strong computer skills – Word, Excel, Internet.
  • Be able to take initiative and work independently.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
