Job Title: Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Director to join our team at Bright Search Recruitment (Pty) Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented marketing professional to drive the development and execution of marketing strategies that promote our products to wholesalers, retailers, and consumers.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • They will develop and implement advertising, PR, and digital campaigns to drive sales and improve brand recognition.
  • This role also involves collaborating with sales, product, and operational teams to ensure alignment in marketing objectives.
  • The Marketing Director will manage marketing budgets, track campaign performance, and report on ROI.
  • Additionally, they will oversee content creation for website, social media, and other marketing materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations in all marketing materials and campaigns.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the food production or agriculture sector.
  • A strong understanding of the abattoir or meat processing industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, brand management, and market research.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • An ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and food safety standards is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in marketing software, CRM tools, and social media platforms.
