Dedicated Healthcare Administrator Wanted for Casual Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Administrative Services Assistant to join our team at the Kimberley Health Centre. This is a casual position, which means that hours of work are not guaranteed, and days of work and shift times may vary.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. They will also have experience in data entry, including gathering, organizing, collecting, collating, and verifying information, as well as typing correspondence.

In this role, you will perform a variety of reception, administrative, and Health Unit Aide support duties, including:

  • Data entry and record management
  • Scheduling and confirming client appointments
  • Receiving, recording, and checking balances of cash transactions
  • Maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within past 24 months from a recognized institution;
  • An Office Administration Certificate;
  • A current valid BC Driver's License;
  • Your Resume;
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position.
