As an Internal Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass more than just handling spreadsheets and invoices; you will be instrumental in facilitating smooth transactions, nurturing relationships, and guaranteeing that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process sales orders received through various channels
  • Assist walk-in customers with their inquiries
  • Confirm product availability and pricing
  • Maintain updated price lists
  • Input sales orders accurately into the system
  • Manage picking slips and coordinate with warehouse teams
  • Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely order delivery
  • Communicate order status and any issues to customers
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries related to orders
  • Keep precise records of customer information and order history
  • Work with other departments to streamline order processing
  • Generate invoices for dispatched orders
  • Organize and file picking slips and related documents
  • Provide support during staff absences
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:
  • Matric certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales support or customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Experience with SAGE evolution software is essential
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting is advantageous.

Performance Metrics:
  • Order Accuracy Rate: Measures the percentage of error-free sales orders processed, reflecting diligence and attention to detail.
  • Order Cycle Time: Assesses the efficiency of order processing from receipt to delivery.
  • Order Fulfillment Rate: Evaluates the percentage of orders delivered on time and in full.
  • Customer Satisfaction Rate: Gauges customer satisfaction through feedback, indicating the effectiveness of service provided.

Compensation: Market-related remuneration
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
