Regional Financial Strategist

Oxyon Human Capital Solutions seeks a seasoned Regional Financial Strategist to lead our Southern Africa growth through strategic financial analysis. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end accounting processes, finance project management, financial controls, and compliance, as well as regulatory reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the country financial strategy, directing all financial operations to increase performance and facilitate growth in line with our strategic objectives.
  • Plan and forecast the company's business activities and financial position in revenue, expenses, and earnings based on expected operations.
  • Contribute to the development of the country business strategy, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
  • Drive and direct the planning and preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances.
  • Evaluate strategic growth and development options and investment appraisal in line with our short-term and long-term strategies.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a specialization.
  • At least 12-15 years of professional experience in a senior financial role, preferably with Big 4 work experience.
  • Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and planning & reporting technologies.
  • Proactive leader with excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels.
