Ventilation Fan Specialist

Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Ventilation Fan Specialist to join our team in a supervisory position. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of mine ventilation fans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test mine ventilation fans to meet company standards
• Align motors and ensure they operate within specifications
• Identify and address issues with loose components on shafts
• Listen for and diagnose problems with bearings
• Fit and check electrical motors
• Organize and plan workflow based on daily work sheets
• Utilize basic computer skills to support tasks
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve goals

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Ability to align motors
• Sound knowledge of basic electrical motor operations
• Skilled in using tools effectively
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Basic computer literacy
• Physically fit and healthy

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
