Fan Tester

We are seeking a dedicated Fan Tester for a supervisory position specialising in the testing of mine ventilation fans. This role is specialised, and full onsite training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Test mine ventilation fans to company standards. Align motors and ensure proper functionality. Identify and address issues such as loose components on shafts. Listen for and diagnose issues with bearings. Fit and check electrical motors. Organize and plan workflow based on daily work sheets. Utilize basic computer skills to support tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve goals. Minimum Requirements Qualified Mechanical Fitter. Ability to align motors. Sound knowledge of basic electrical motor operations. Skilled in using tools effectively. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Basic computer literacy. Physically fit and healthy. Advantageous Skills & Experience Experience in ventilation fan manufacturing and repairs. Familiarity with test columns. Forklift driving experience. Background in the mining industry.
