The purpose of this role is to offer strategic guidance and support to our Compliance division, ensuring that we remain compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice to inform business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Support the development and implementation of compliance strategies and policies.

Develop and maintain effective risk management plans and monitoring systems.

Lead training sessions to educate stakeholders on compliance matters.

Identify and resolve non-compliance issues promptly.

Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform decision-making.

Prepare clear and concise reports for senior management.

Engage with key stakeholders, including EXCO members, to promote a culture of compliance.

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years' experience in the long-term insurance sector, with 5 years in a Regulatory Compliance Risk Management role.

Possess a relevant LLB degree or related qualification.

Proven track record of successfully managing compliance risks and improving business outcomes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
