About the Job

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all debtor accounts are reconciled, and payments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve account-related queries and ensure timely resolution of orders on HOLD.

Job Description

  • Reconcile debtor accounts, including processing payments, claims, rebates, and discounts.
  • Match credit notes to corresponding invoices and allocate them accurately in the debtor ledger.
  • Manage new customer applications for accounts, assess credit worthiness, and load new customers onto Syspro.
  • Liaise with sales representatives to manage ongoing credit limit requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc credit control functions as required.

Experience and Qualification

  • Completed Matric and experience as a Credit Controller.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
