We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Pricing Specialist to join our team in eThekwini Municipality.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for controlling professional and technical processes associated with electricity pricing and tariffs, as well as providing supply economics services to internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating and commenting on options and alternatives for complex electricity and infrastructure pricing.
- Providing advice, information, and guidance on the principles, procedures, and applications of complex forms of electricity and infrastructure pricing.
- Applying principles and techniques for developing and presenting technical designs for complex forms of electricity reduction techniques and tariff economics.
- Coordinating and/or guiding sequences and procedures for preparing, collating contract documentation, and evaluating tender applications for complex engineering posts.
- Defining standards and controlling the implementation and outcomes of complex engineering contracts.
- Disseminating information on the professional aspects of electricity and infrastructure pricing concepts and providing reports detailing interventions and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (NQF Level 8) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa as a Professional Engineer in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 3 Years relevant post qualification experience in the electricity supply industry.
