Executive Client Service Representative

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Client Liaison Officer to join our team at JSE Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch support to corporate clients, ensuring seamless interactions and efficient resolutions to their queries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administrative client account management, including executive share schemes and BEE schemes.
  • Effective communication with clients and internal teams to address client requests and resolve issues.
  • Liaising with various departments to action client requests, amendments, trades, and tax queries.
  • Applying knowledge and complying with regulations when performing Share Plan administration and BEE schemes duties.
  • Supporting management in maintaining high-quality client service and ensuring timely resolution of client issues.

System Administration Tasks:

  • Monitoring client accounts and events using the Share Plan Services (SPS) system.
  • Validating received documentation and requests, ensuring correctness before instructing support teams to action.
  • Managing email and phone call interactions and closure of requests through Outlook or Genesys.

Support Services Role:

  • Assisting in collecting, preparing, and distributing information required for management and client reporting.
  • Completing project work or tasks as required by other teams.
  • Maintaining records of all work performed and reporting daily statistics to management.
  • Communicating and liaising with other departments to meet client needs.
  • Rendering backup support where assistance is required.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Maintaining and improving quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines, recommending improved procedures.
  • Operating within controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of the JSE.
  • Identifying and reporting risks or areas of concern to management within area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful, and irregular expenditure.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in a client services environment.

Technical Competencies Required:

  • Understanding of regulatory environment, laws, acts, and rules of the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of Share Plans and BEE Schemes.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
