We are seeking a highly skilled Practice Accountant to join our team at Latitude Resource in Somerset West.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services, including monthly accounting and processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, VAT reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review financial statements of junior trainees.
  • Review VAT calculations of junior trainees.
  • Prepare and timely submit VAT and payroll.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance or Accounting, completed relevant professional articles in SAIPA, SAICA or SAIBA/CIMA, and be professionally registered. They will also have work experience between 3 to 15 years and experience in an professional accounting or audit practice is a must.

A competitive salary range of R25,000 to R35,000 per month, negotiable, dependent on skills and experience, is offered.
