Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our Group Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and reviewing foreign subsidiary financial results, assisting with cluster financial consolidation, and supporting specific improvement projects to enhance the financial close process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review foreign subsidiary financial results in HFM for monthly reporting and year-end close process
  • Assist with cluster financial consolidation, including preparation of note disclosures for year-end close process
  • Support specific improvement projects to enhance the financial close process
  • Ensure effective controls and procedures are in place
  • Interact with external auditors
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance to the Group Finance team

Requirements

  • BCom degree (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within financial services and/or insurance industry

Desirable Skills

  • Good working knowledge of IFRS principles and standards and group consolidation
  • HFM experience will be an added advantage
