We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Access Bank Plc. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides expert advice and guidance to customers on our products and services.
  2. Gathers market trends, competitor analysis, and pricing data to inform business decisions.
  3. Built long-term relationships with clients, influencing their adoption of our solutions.
  4. Identifies, profiles, and may service high-value accounts.
  5. May participate in contract negotiations.
  6. Develops product-specific training programs for various disciplines.
  7. Delivers technical and customer training to internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Offers application support and troubleshooting to customers and engineers.
  9. Identifies potential customers and visits laboratories and hospitals.
  10. Manages logistics and ensures timely delivery to customers.
  11. Negotiates with customers to agree on quotes and takes orders.
  12. Handles site preparation and inventory management.
  13. Attends industry events, conferences, and training sessions.
  14. Participates in customer meetings and follows up on customer feedback reports.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences, Clinical Pathology, or equivalent qualification is required. Qualified Medical Technologist with a proven experience track record in Commercial Direct Sales and Application Support is preferred. 7-10 years' experience in a Corporate Sales environment, preferably in IVD/Medical Devices industry is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in laboratory management and student training is desirable. Proven experience in the full training cycle, including needs analysis, curriculum design, training delivery, and evaluation is highly valued. System knowledge: Oracle, Business Objects, SFDC, and SharePoint is a plus. Strong analytical and application troubleshooting skills are required.
