We are The Talent Barn, a forward-thinking organization seeking an exceptional Financial Professional to join our team. As a hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations and providing top-notch administrative support.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on accounting, where you will:

  • Manage our general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely monthly invoicing.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and debtor management with precision.
  • Support payroll and tax compliance, including VAT and transaction allocations.
  • Maintain our accounting software, Sage, to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all financial transactions.

In addition to accounting duties, you will also provide administrative support, including:

  • Scheduling, correspondence, and procurement tasks to maintain a smooth office operation.
  • Building relationships with vendors and service providers to foster effective partnerships.
  • Overseeing record-keeping, filing, and overall office organization to ensure a clutter-free and efficient workspace.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar accounting role, with some admin or office management exposure.
Preferred Skills

You will be highly competitive if you possess:

  • Proficiency in Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software.
  • The ability to multitask effectively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to juggle competing priorities.
Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
