BDO Business Services Outsourcing Services is seeking two highly skilled Financial Analysts with Accounting Expertise to join our team in Cape Town CBD. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing portfolios of monthly and annual accounting clients under a Netherlands portfolio.

**Competencies and Requirements**

  • Proven experience in accounting, with a passion for preparing comprehensive financial records from source to trial balance;
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with experience in working with multiple cloud-based accounting platforms;
  • Previous experience in managing client portfolios, including onboarding, client interaction, and communication throughout the accounting assignment;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and prioritize multiple clients simultaneously;
  • Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and IFRS for Small- and Medium-sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs);
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and experience in using tools for statement preparation;
  • Performing tax computations for companies, close corporations, and trusts;
  • Proposing journals to clients via senior or manager;
  • Self-disciplined, with a high regard for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process adherence;
  • Excellent time management skills, with responsibility for managing own schedule according to client deadlines and delivery dates;
  • Reporting to a supervisor and providing efficient feedback on engagement progress;
  • Managing own Work-in-Progress (WIP) and budgets on engagements;
  • Compilation Engagements in terms of ISRS 4410;
  • Independent Review Engagements in terms of ISRE 2400;
  • Accounting Officer Engagements in terms of Close Corporations Act;

**Job Type and Location**

**Estimated Salary:** R550,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience.
