Job Title: Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at Execustaff Recruiting Services. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing automated systems for new and existing production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement automated systems for production machinery, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Budget and Capex Planning: Evaluate and estimate capex for new projects, track planned vs actual expenditure, and engage with vendors for quotes.
  • Machine Conceptualization and Design: Conceptualize new machine designs, work with internal and external designers, and propose concepts.
  • System Design and Integration: Develop and design control systems for automated machinery, create detailed wiring schematics, and ensure seamless integration.
  • PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Develop and implement PLC programs, troubleshoot and debug code as needed, and ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing of automated systems, commission systems for full-scale production, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborate with maintenance teams, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years' minimum relative experience in designing and implementing automated systems.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, knowledge of industrial communication protocols, and familiarity with electrical CAD software.
  • Education: N Dip / B-tech Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering.
