Job Description

At Execustaff Recruiting Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing automated systems for new and existing production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement automated systems for production machinery, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Budget and Capex Planning: Evaluate and estimate capital expenditures for new projects, track planned vs. actual expenditure, and engage with vendors for quotes.
  • Machine Conceptualization and Design: Conceptualize new machine designs, work with internal and external designers, propose concepts, and specify automation components.
  • System Design and Integration: Develop and design control systems for automated machinery, create detailed wiring schematics and diagrams, and integrate electrical systems into existing production machinery.
  • PLC Programming and Troubleshooting: Develop and implement PLC programs to control and monitor machinery, troubleshoot and debug PLC code as needed.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing of automated systems to ensure functionality and reliability, and commission systems for full-scale production.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical designs, schematics, and programming, and provide training to operators as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automated systems, with strong proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, electrical CAD software, and excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
