Job Overview
The Prax Group is seeking a seasoned Tax Analyst to manage tax operations for South Africa and Botswana. This role involves ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and resolving audit issues.

About the Role
This position will work closely with the Finance Director to ensure that the company operates efficiently within the legal tax framework while minimizing financial exposure. Key responsibilities include tax compliance, planning, and transfer pricing. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting and documentation, stakeholder engagement, and training and mentorship.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field. A post-graduate qualification in tax would be advantageous. You should have 3-5 years of experience in tax-related roles, preferably in the oil & gas industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, as well as excellent communication skills.
