Cochrane Global is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Security Advisor to join our team. As a Strategic Security Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising on strategic security matters and ensuring the safety and security of our operations.

Job Description:

The Tactical Response Officer is responsible for providing strategic security advice to senior management and stakeholders. This includes advising on security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Strategic Security Advice: Our Tactical Response Officer must provide strategic security advice to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Advise on Security Protocols: The officer is expected to advise on security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our operations.
  • Develop Security Plans: The officer must develop security plans and strategies to mitigate security risks and threats.
  • Implement Security Measures: The officer is required to implement security measures to ensure the safety and security of our operations.
  • Monitor Security Risks: The officer must monitor security risks and threats and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Strategic Security Advisor, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • PSIRA Grade A Registered: You must be PSIRA Grade A registered.
  • PSIRA Registered Armed Response Certificate: You must hold a valid PSIRA registered armed response certificate.
  • Computer Literate: You must be computer literate.
  • Driver's License: You must hold a valid driver's license with a Code 08 endorsement.
  • Clean Driving Record: You must have a clean driving record.
  • Tactical Experience: You must have 3 to 5 years of experience in the security industry with a focus on tactical operations.
  • Firearm Competency: You must be firearm competent with a handgun, shotgun, self-guarding rifle, and self-loading rifle.
  • Armed Reaction Certificate: You must hold a valid armed reaction certificate.
  • Armed Reaction Experience: You must have armed reaction experience.
  • CIT or CPO Training: CIT or CPO training and experience is an advantage.
