Job Title: Field Support Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients at their sites. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, troubleshoot, and install hardware and software on new and faulty laptops and desktops.
  • Replace and install new desktops and laptops.
  • Provide support for Windows OS software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including third-party applications.
  • Support Sasol Applications on Android and iOS devices.
  • Ensure that all open tickets are managed within the SLA.
  • Reach efficiency targets.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of server, network, and desktop support experience.
  • 3 years of practical in-service delivery experience, including desktop support, network support, and Active Directory.
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • A+ and N+ certifications.
  • Soft skills certificates.
  • ITIL Foundation V3 certification.
  • Preferred qualifications: MCSE certification.
