Job Title: Senior Water and Sanitation Engineer

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water and Sanitation Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing plans for water and sanitation systems, including bulk water networks, stormwater management, and sustainable hydrology design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare preliminary and final plans for water and sanitation systems
  • Estimate project costs and develop specifications for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Develop preliminary engineering treatments to determine construction feasibility and estimated cost
  • Prepare final layout drawings and stress calculations
  • Recommend construction methods best suited to soil types encountered
  • Discuss plans, specifications, and works schedules with contractors, utility companies, and other governmental agencies
  • Ensure the survey, staking, layout, and inspection of construction projects
  • Ensure project reviews, quality assurance, cost control, health & safety, and invoicing of the project
  • Prepare a Close-out report
  • Compile a project budget and monitor it to optimize cost savings and/or profit margins
Requirements:
  • A relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Registered as Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech
  • 8 years of experience in Water & Sanitation Engineering Consulting
  • Experience in Water & Sanitation Engineering Design
  • Knowledge of Water & Sanitation Engineering Design
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, Microsoft Projects, Auto CAD, Civil 3D, HECRAS, EPANET, Model Maker, Surge Analysis Software, Civil Designer, Stormwater Software
