About the Job
We are looking for a Community Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects. This role will oversee the coordination of project activities, ensure timely completion, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects in accordance with the Social and Labour Plan (SLP).
- Determine project goals and priorities with management program manager and/or project sponsors.
- Coordinate project activities among team members.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies.
- Prepare reports and documentation for projects.
Requirements
- Recognised BTech Degree or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of practical experience in project implementation.
- Understanding of infrastructure development, construction processes, design, and planning.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of project management software.
