Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Transaction Coordinator to join our team at On Line Personnel. This role will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, verifying payments, and reconciling accounts payable records.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with past experience in financial administration to take on a new challenge. As a Financial Transaction Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously
  • Verify invoices received match purchase orders
  • Prepare and process payments to suppliers, ensuring accuracy
  • Reconcile supplier statements with accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding invoice and payment enquiries resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable aging, following up on overdue invoices and coordinating with suppliers to resolve payment issues
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Generate regular reports on accounts payable status
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Matric qualification
  • Past experience with Pastel and Excel essential
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
