Job Title: UI/UX Designer – Perm – Hybrid

E-Merge is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and help refine and enhance our existing design system and brand guidelines.

About the Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you will work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our B2B SaaS platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, design requirements, and project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain design systems that promote consistency and efficiency across the platform.
  • Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze user engagement metrics to inform design decisions.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that designs are properly implemented and maintain design quality throughout development.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and experience with relevant design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design systems and how to create and maintain them.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills and Experience
  • Experience with B2B SaaS or enterprise software design.
  • Understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design.
  • Experience with user interface design for data visualization and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

This is a perm hybrid role offering a salary up to R780K per annum.
