The Individual Touch is seeking a Product Category Manager to oversee all aspects of category/product management, including product identification, sourcing, and successful market introduction. This role will focus on PPE excluding hand protection, with a primary emphasis on Workwear and Footwear.

Achieving targeted turnover and unit sales is essential. Close collaboration with Regional GMs is necessary to align on relevant product-market fit. Successful new product launches and increased sales ratios are key performance indicators. Monitoring Contract Price List accuracy and maintaining margins in line with company policy is also crucial.

Regular profitability analysis and product portfolio optimization are vital. Effective communication with stakeholders and negotiation with suppliers are essential skills for this role. Designing buying and planning strategies regarding supplier alliances is also a key responsibility.

This position requires a strong understanding of the PPE industry and its markets. Building relationships with top customers and adhering to call cycles is essential. Providing product-related support for new product launch campaigns is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements
  1. Tertiary qualification or relevant Marketing degree/diploma
  2. 5-10 years experience in the PPE Industry/in a similar position
  3. Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook
