Job Overview

Maximus Bodies is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Workshop Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our workshop in Alrode. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, training, and leading our production team to achieve sales, cost, and profitability objectives.

As a successful candidate, you will have extensive experience in vehicle body building or boilermaking, with at least 10 years of industry experience. You will also have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency

• Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands

• Train and develop production team members to improve their skills and knowledge

• Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability

• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste

• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, and clients. A competitive salary package, including a base salary of R350,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses, will be offered to the successful candidate.
