Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and driving project success.
- Provide technical guidance in designing and developing high-quality Java applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and implement quality assurance processes to deliver reliable web applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage projects effectively, defining requirements, and allocating resources as needed.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in leading a team, with at least 6 years of enterprise development experience.
- Strong core Java skills, preferably with expertise in Java 21.
- Familiarity with the Spring/Spring Boot framework and relational database development.
- Experience applying SOLID design principles and building web services/APIs on REST.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring software engineering teams, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Bonus points for experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
