Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Analysis:
    • Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (Siemens NX).
    • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • System Integration:
    • Understand mechanical, electrical, and software systems within the powerplant.
    • Assist in developing system tests.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues.
    • Manage data acquisition systems for the engine facility and flight platform.
  • Manufacturing and Production:
    • Understand manufacturing processes and tolerances.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design manufacturability.
    • Develop manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
  • System Oversight:
    • Sustain system configuration during development and new powerplant introductions.
    • Collaborate with design and integration teams for system integrity and performance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of industry experience, preferably in aerospace or automotive.
  • Experience with power plants, thermodynamics, or propulsion systems advantageous.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Siemens NX.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and testing techniques.
  • Data analysis and programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) desired.
  • Mechanical design knowledge and troubleshooting expertise essential.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
