We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Governance and Ethics to join our team at RPO Recruitment.

About the Role:

  • This role involves leading the development and implementation of the Corporate Risk Register.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors regularly to review progress on programme implementation and establish improvement plans.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing compliance policies, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on regulatory matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) and admitted Attorney in the High Court of South Africa.
  • 5 years plus experience in Compliance Risk Management and Company Secretarial Practice within a corporate legal department in the mining industry or a reputable law firm.
  • Member of the South African law society/professional institute.
