Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier quality development strategies to improve the quality performance of purchased parts and services.
  • Collaborate with commodity managers and suppliers to identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and support to suppliers to improve their quality management systems and processes.
  • Monitor and report on supplier quality performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in quality management, supplier development, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, commodity managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
