MVC Marketing is a dynamic organization seeking an experienced and skilled Retail Sales Specialist to join its team in Phalaborwa. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting products in stores, managing allocated store databases, and interacting with store staff to keep them informed about upcoming promotions.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience in merchandising and sales, as well as good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • They should also have knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office packages and cellular/network knowledge.

In this role, you will travel daily to various stores in Phalaborwa, Namakgale, Hoedspruit, Accornhoek, Thulamahashi, Dwarsloop, Bushbuckridge, Tzaneen, Modjadji, Metz/Mahlakung, and Maake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Call on a database of stores in the area.
  • Manage allocated store database in the area.
  • Merchandise products in store.
  • Data collection.
  • Reporting on store-related issues.
  • Place point-of-sale displays in stores.
  • Manage product displays as per seasonal cycles.
  • Interact regularly with all store staff to keep them informed about upcoming product promotions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with store managers and floor salesmen in the store.
  • Conduct in-store training and complete system reporting.

A Retail Sales Specialist is required to be well-groomed and professional always. The successful candidate must provide themselves with their own transport.

Requirements
  • Complete Matric.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Own reliable vehicle.
  • At least one Certificate in Marketing/Sales or related industry.
  • Cellular/Network Knowledge and Experience.
  • At least one-year experience in merchandising and sales.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Good computer literacy, knowledge, and experience in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Field Marketing Experience.
Estimated Salary Range:

R 200,000 - R 300,000 per annum (based on location and experience).
