About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our team at ACCA Careers. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our fund valuations. Your responsibilities will include updating Apex systems with daily prices, providing mentorship to junior fund accountants, and generating and distributing daily valuation files.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage fund valuations within the Institutional Funds space.
  2. Administer funds efficiently, accurately, and within daily deadlines.
  3. Set up and ensure checklists and standards are adhered to.
  4. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior fund accountants.
  5. Generate and distribute daily valuation files.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a fund accountant, a BCom or similar degree, and experience in Asset Management portfolio administration and pricing. Knowledge of IT and systems skills, specifically Invest One, and proficiency in MS Office & IT packages are also essential.
