Customer Service Representative

Objective Personnel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer experiences from order receipt to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Order Processing: Efficiently receive, process, and invoice customer purchase orders for delivery or collection.
- Credit Note Management: Process credit notes as and when required.
- Delivery Planning: Strategically plan and schedule customer deliveries based on geographic areas and specific days by collaborating with drivers.
- Quotation and Collection: Request quotations and arrange collections/deliveries for clients who require that their orders be sent via courier.
- Order Verification: Verify and update the accuracy of purchase orders, proforma invoices, and tax invoices/credit notes, including verifying customers' company information, pricing, stock availability, and account status.
- Customer Communication: Proactively contact customers through phone or email to address queries and provide timely feedback to customers and sales representatives regarding stock-related matters, including out-of-stock items, ETAs on back orders, delivery dates, and stock substitutes.
- Order Expedite: Expedite orders through various departments, including finance, purchasing, warehouse, and sales.
- Pick Slip Generation: Generate customer collection and delivery pick slips for the warehouse to facilitate efficient picking and packing processes.
- Customer Feedback: Direct valuable feedback from customers to relevant departments and sales representatives to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Walk-in Customer Support: Assist walk-in customers with existing and new collection orders, card and cash payments, or stock-related questions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Product Knowledge: Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Sales Generation: Phone existing customers that have not yet placed monthly/bi-monthly orders and generate additional sales.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general office administration duties, including answering telephones, filing, scanning documentation, and other clerical tasks.
- Departmental Support: Provide support to various departments by undertaking additional tasks as and when required.
- Sales Support: Assist with internal sales requests and queries/new sales opportunities, product enquiries (explaining and demonstrating features of products) and quotations on Evolution.
- Customer Revival: Revive customer accounts that haven't bought and follow up on current database leads.
- New Customer Acquisition: Source new potential customers to expand the current customer database (cold calling).
- Sales Opportunity Identification: Understand customers' needs and identify new sales opportunities.
- Sales Lead Assistance: Assist and strategize sales leads with external representatives.
