Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled ESG Reporting Analyst to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ESG reporting frameworks, analysing and reporting on ESG performance, and collaborating with fund management teams and portfolio companies to improve their ESG performance and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ESG reporting frameworks in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Analyse and report on the ESG performance of the look-through portfolio companies.Collaborate with South African venture funds and management teams of direct investments to integrate ESG considerations into investment reporting.Prepare comprehensive ESG reports for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.Monitor global ESG trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance reporting processes.Conduct ESG analysis and provide case studies on investments made.Engage with fund management teams and portfolio companies to improve their ESG performance and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, environmental science, sustainability, economics or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • 3-5 Years ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or a related analysis role within asset management or financial services.
  • In-depth understanding of ESG standards, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software as well as presentation tools such as MS PowerPoint or others.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear, creative, and concise manner.
