Job Title: Programming Foundation Facilitator


About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced facilitator to join our team at CTU Career Chatz. As a Programming Foundation Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating, assessing, and moderating programme content designed to develop specific competencies in students.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Planning and Preparation: Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and resources to support student learning.
  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessment and Moderation: Assess student work and provide constructive feedback, ensuring that students meet the required learning outcomes.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, addressing their learning needs and concerns.
  • Administration: Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting, to ensure the smooth operation of the programme.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.


Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • NQF – 6 Qualification in Information Technology: A recognized qualification in Information Technology, with a focus on programming and software development.
  • Previous Experience in Facilitating: Previous experience in facilitating and teaching, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, and Java, with the ability to design and deliver programming content.
