To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- A valid NVQ level 2-3 qualification or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in tyre fitting, brake repair, cam belt replacement, clutch fitting, and exhaust maintenance
- A current full valid UK driving license
- A proven track record working in a professional workshop environment
- The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team in a dynamic environment
- A commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
- The capacity to take initiative and assume responsibility for maintaining high standards of work quality
Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Ensuring all vehicle repairs are completed safely and to the highest standard
- Completing fast-fit tyre fittings using alignment machines while interpreting readings and making relevant adjustments
- Fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety regulations
- Following company procedures for vehicle inspection processes
- Accurately documenting work in line with company policies and procedures
- Notifying customers and/or management of any additional faults discovered during inspections
