Janitor

SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our office and premises.

• Daily Cleaning Tasks: Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop surfaces in your work area, including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Supply Management: Refill and restock cleaning supplies, including hand wash, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Kitchen and Equipment Cleaning: Wash dishes, kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters, as well as clean refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, watercoolers, and all kitchen equipment.
• Waste Management: Take out the garbage and dispose of it in designated areas.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Assist with additional tasks as required.

• Matric or Equivalent: A minimum of a Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices, standard cleaning chemicals, and general hygiene practices.

• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Teamwork: Ability to be a team player.
• Flexibility: Flexibility to adapt to changing environments.
