We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team at MECS in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of projects across various sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Developing and reviewing project scopes, methodologies and job specifications;
  • Producing high-quality estimates and reports;
  • Liaising closely with Project Managers and other Departments to ensure timely release of information;
  • Analyzing project feedback to assess accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • National Diploma in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
  • BSC Engineering Degree or Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Desirable);
  • Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (Desirable);
  • At least 4 years of working experience in a relevant industry environment;
  • Excellent MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word skills.
