Finance Manager for Renewable Energy Projects

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Time Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with project documents and agreements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage company accounting, revenue recognition, customer invoicing, cost management, and fixed assets register maintenance.
  • Maintain loan registers, perform accounting estimates and accruals, and manage tax journals.
  • Oversee monthly reconciliations, quarterly foreign currency revaluations, and data room management.
  • Prepare reporting duties, including monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packages.
  • Ensure projects comply with general project documents, including the Power Purchase Agreement and Distribution Customer Use of System Agreement.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Finance or Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Law, or similar field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven work experience in a similar position.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, deadline-driven, and good time management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and analysing data sets and independently drawing key conclusions based on analysis.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, CaseWare, Pastel, Oracle.

**Salary:** R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, negotiable dependent on experience.
