About the Role
The Salvation Army Booth Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Trainer to join our team. As a Healthcare Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff and patients.
This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of patient care and continuous professional development. You will work closely with our healthcare teams to integrate educational initiatives into patient care, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver educational programs and training sessions for nursing staff, focusing on clinical and educational skills.
- Conduct needs assessments of nursing staff and create tailored learning plans to address their requirements.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to new and existing nursing staff, helping them to grow in their roles.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- A Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing registration, committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
- A Bachelor's degree or Certificate in Nursing Admin and Education will be advantageous, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and leadership.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of clinical nursing experience, showcasing expertise in patient care and education.
- Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills, essential for inspiring and motivating nursing staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of respect and open communication.

- Excellent clinical and educational skills, enabling you to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering training programs, ensuring nursing staff receive the support they need to excel in their roles.
