Cyber Security Consultant

At Parvana, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our security operations center, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' networks and systems from cyber threats.
About the Role:
We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for security and a strong desire to learn and grow with our company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including Windows and Linux systems, and be familiar with common malware types. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring security systems, analyzing logs, and responding to alerts and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance communication and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Continuously refining and enhancing use cases and playbooks for improved security responses.
- Developing expertise in automating notification, response, and remediation processes.
- Participating in threat hunting activities and responding to intelligence feeds with actionable measures.
- Contributing to the development of security dashboards and streamlining reporting processes.
- Staying informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity and actively sharing knowledge with the team.
- Providing comprehensive support across multiple customer environments simultaneously.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Pursuing or holding an industry-standard certification (e.g., Microsoft CompTIA SANS CREST ISC2).
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management, task prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of networking.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems.
- Understanding of common malware types.
