We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Gijima Holdings. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our IT systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Cyber Security and Corporate Risk Frameworks
  • Develop and Implement Applicable Policies and Standards
  • Monitor and Report on Security Incidents
  • Ensure Policy Compliance and Conduct Regular Audits
  • Perform Daily, Weekly, and Monthly System Health Checks
  • Implement Approved Configuration and Rule Changes
  • Ensure Application and System Security and Availability
  • Run Ad-Hoc Reports and Respond to Security-Related Incidents
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to Analyze Threat Intelligence
  • Conduct Cyber Incident Exercises to Test Preparedness
  • Set and Implement User Access Controls and Identity and Access Management Systems
  • Monitor Network and Application Performance to Identify Irregular Activity
  • Deploy Endpoint Detection and Prevention Tools
  • Implement Comprehensive Vulnerability Management Systems
  • Document Network, System, and Application User Access Control Procedures
  • Validate Legitimacy of Access Requests and Ensure Proper Approvals
  • Develop and Maintain User Access Application Inventory
  • Distribute Access Control Reports and Provide Management Information
  • Work with Business Stakeholders to Ensure Onboarding of New Applications
  • Develop and Implement Regular Access Control Process Improvements
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience in IT Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Especially Networks, Servers, Desktops, and DLP
  • Proven Experience as a Cyber Security Engineer with a Focus on Symantec DLP Solutions
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Symantec DLP Architecture, Components, and Capabilities
  • Strong Understanding of Data Classification, Encryption, and Data Loss Prevention Techniques
  • Hands-On Experience in Designing, Configuring, and Managing DLP Policies and Rules
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Requirements and Compliance
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Effective Communication Skills and Ability to Convey Technical Concepts
  • Knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management and Cloud Assurance
