Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Domain Specialist to lead the design and architecture of large-scale backend applications using best practices to ensure high levels of performance, maintainability, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop large-scale web applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud-based technologies, including public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in software delivery life cycles and enable high-quality continuous delivery processes.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud native applications, containerization, and microservices architecture.
  5. Develop and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-based systems.
  6. Work closely with the frontend development team to drive large-scale projects and ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
  7. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
  8. Collaborate with the data warehousing and information technology architecture teams to drive improvements in data management and system integration.
  9. Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale web applications.
  3. Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, including public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  4. Strong understanding of containerization, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
  5. Experience with testing, CI/CD, and monitoring tools such as Cypress, Jest, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Datadog.
  6. Experience with data warehousing and information technology architecture.
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  8. Ability to work in a dynamic, remote-first environment with a globally distributed team.
